Meditation is the perfect antidote to today’s hectic lifestyle. It helps to reduce the harmful effects of excessive and chronic stress, leading to increased inner peace and calmness. This in turn has profound effects on our health and well-being.

Dr. Mark Hyman states that meditation “provides the nervous system rest 5 times deeper than sleep”. Dr. Herbert Benson, a pioneer in this field, said “one of the most valuable things we can do in life is to learn deep relaxation”.  Since it is such a powerful tool that benefits our whole system, it should be part of an integrative plan toward prevention and reduction of chronic pain and other chronic conditions.
