More stress at work= ↓ focus, productivity, creativity, collaboration + ↑ health issues and sick days.
Having relaxed, happier, healthier employees not only helps the employees themselves, but the company or organization at large. This is true for ALL industries, such as technology, education, health care, and first responders.
In my experience of teaching workshops at various companies, providing employees with concrete tools to reduce stress makes them feel cared for. It also helps to improve their mental and physical health and how they show up and perform.
My workshops can be conducted virtually or in person. They are customized for each company or organization, specific to their needs. I look at factors such as:
- Is this their first time having such workshops in stress management?
- What are the particular stressors the employees face?
- How large is the company or organization?
- What is the best way to ensure follow through?
Typically, I find a series of sessions on a regular basis provides consistency and accountability. Also, I usually create short audio recordings (or even video recordings) for employees to de-stress along with in between sessions. I have also combined my other skills in my workshops as needed, such as on ergonomics or stretches to do at the workplace.
